- Join an eCar club if you need to make a longer journey.

- Pop out on an eBike or eScooter for a meal with friends.

Riding a bike or using public transport may not be right for every journey

A car club gives you flexible and hassle-free access to an electric car or van whenever you want.

- Book by the hour or day, in advance or on the go.

- Only pay when you use it.

Simply book the car, pick it up from a convenient location, drive away and drop it off when you have finished. Payments are processed automatically.

There are two car clubs in Greater Manchester, that also give access to vehicles across the country:

Hire an electric Starling Bank Bike

It’s cheap and easy to find and hire a Starling Bank Bike. There’s stations right across Manchester, Salford and Trafford.

Electric bikes cost £1 to unlock and 10p a minute to ride. And you can save money with minute bundles too.

Give eCargo bikes a go

Cargo bikes are a great way to go for your local shop, take the kids out and about, or even pop stuff down to the local tip. They come in all shapes and sizes – including electric – and you can get advice before trying one out.

Scoot on over

Fancy a scoot? Salford is part of the Department for Transport’s eScooter trial scheme.

Anyone who is over 18 and holds a provisional or full driving license can hire a scooter.

So if you’re in the neighbourhood, download the Lime app and give it a go.

It’s just £1 to unlock the scooter and 17p a minute after that.

Book it, pick it up and get scooting.
